Oracle Cerner EHR to order, deliver and monitor targeted patient engagement resources under their clinical workflow.

Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation would enable the distribution of addiction treatment and recovery support content with the help of electronic health records and Xealth’s digital therapeutics platform.

The EHR collaboration with the digital prescribing platform would enable clinicians to send personalized therapeutic content to their patients throughout their recovery.

The clinicians can respond to and anticipate the patient’s needs within their workflow. They can send the patients reading material, exercises, and workshops. The clinicians can access these materials through a central content repository.

Patients can access this information anywhere. The information is available on the patient portal. In addition, the patients can see them during online or in-person consultations.

Hazelden Betty Ford is the largest non-profit system of addiction treatment and mental health care prevention services. They also provide recovery resources and education services in the USA.

The health system offers full recovery support. They believe addiction is both a one-day-at-a-time commitment and a lifelong journey.

As part of increasing patient engagement and enabling digital technology for providing remote healthcare, Oracle Cerner and Xealth have collaborated since 2020.

Since addiction and mental health are complex issues to handle. Health providers need tools to help them respond to each patient’s needs. The need was also more pressing after the pandemic, which saw an increase in cases.

The new integration can better access patients between visits and appointments. They can also help overcome common barriers to treating addiction.

According to a statement by the Chief Information Officer, the collaboration between Oracle and Xealth provides the resources that are important for patient care. Digital resources are crucial for such services.
